Televideo Instructions

Computer Connection with Microphone:

If you have a computer with a web camera and microphone, please follow these directions.

  1. Please click on this link www.zoom.us.
  2. At the top you will notice a button that says, “JOIN A MEETING”, please click on that button.
  3. Enter the Meeting ID that was provided to you.
  4. It will then ask if you would like to “Join with Video” or “Join without Video”. Click on “Join with Video”.
  5. Before joining, it is recommended you click on “Test speaker and microphone” in order to ensure that everything is working for you. After you have done this, please click on “Join with Computer Audio”.
  6. If you are put into a waiting list, please be patient as your Therapist is finishing up with a client.
  7. Once your appointment has ended please click on “Leave Meeting”, which should be located on the bottom right.

Computer Connection without Microphone:

If you have a computer with a web camera only and no microphone, please follow these directions.

  1. Please click on this link www.zoom.us.
  2. At the top you will notice a button that says, “JOIN A MEETING”, please click on that button.
  3. Enter the Meeting ID that was provided to you.
  4. It will then ask if you would like to “Join with Video” or “Join without Video”. Click on “Join with Video”.
  5. Since you do not have a microphone, please click on the option that says, “Phone Call”.
  6. Dial one of the phone numbers that has been displayed on your cellphone or home phone.
  7. When prompted enter the Meeting ID, then hit #.
  8. When prompted enter the Participant ID that is displayed and hit #.
  9. Now your audio will be coming from your phone, and the video will be on your computer.
  10. If you are put into a waiting list, please be patient as your Therapist is finishing up with a client.
  11. Once your appointment has ended please click on “Leave Meeting”, which should be located on the bottom right and hang up on your phone.

Smartphone Connection:

Please note: Using a video connection will use data. If you have a smartphone that you will be using to connect, please follow these directions.

  1. Enter this link on your smartphone web browser https://zoom.us/download.
  2. It will automatically open the App Store or the Play Store to download the Zoom app.
  3. Download the application and install it.
  4. Open the application and select “Join a Meeting”.
  5. Enter the Meeting ID that was provided.
  6. Enter your name. It may automatically come up with the name of your phone.
  7. Click on “Join” once you are ready.
  8. If prompted with a message asking if you would like Zoom to access your Camera, please select ok.
  9. Select “Join with Video”.
  10. If prompted with a message asking if you would like Zoom to access your microphone, please select ok.
  11. If prompted with another message saying, “To hear others please join audio”. Select “Call using Internet Audio”.
  12. If you do not automatically join the meeting and are put on a waiting list. Please be patient as your Therapist may be finishing up a meeting with another Client.
  13. Once your meeting is over just click on “Leave”, which is displayed in red letters on the top right of your screen.
  14. You may now close out of the application.

Cellphone Connection:

If you have a regular cellphone that does not have data, please follow these directions. Make sure to have the Meeting ID that was provided. Choose one of the phone numbers that is listed at the bottom of this page to dial. If you do not have a Meeting ID, please call our offices to notify them of this issue and we can quickly get it resolved.

  1. On your cellphone please enter the phone number that was provided and hit call.
  2. You will be prompted to enter the Meeting ID and then press #.
  3. It will then prompt you for a Participant ID, but since you do not have one just press # again.
  4. You should be connected to your appointment. If you Therapist is currently with another client, then it will let you know that you are part of a waiting list.
  5. Hang up once the appointment has ended.
