“Trauma-Informed Caret” with Robyn Trippany Simmons, Ed.D., LPC-S, RPT-S

The focus of this presentation is to provide a deeper understanding of human growth and development and how this is impacted when developmental trauma is present, including healthy cognitive functioning and the impact of adverse experiences on that functioning, in both children and adults. Additionally, this presentation will explore Vicarious Trauma and how to mitigate against it’s effects.
