CrossWinds offers counseling services for children and adolescents from 4 years old to 18 years old that are struggling with worry, anxiety, self-esteem, anger, or other emotions. CrossWinds has therapists trained to provide your child with the tools they need to work through their everyday struggles.

The whole child approach
We understand that children and adolescents may still have a hard time expressing themselves. If you are noticing your child struggling with worry, anxiety, self-esteem or anger, CrossWinds has therapists trained to be able to provide your children with the tools that they need to work through their everyday struggles. We believe in using an individualized approach to develop coping skills and help them reach their goals.
Beyond therapeutic support, CrossWinds offers community-based services tailored to meet the unique needs of children and their families. These supports include:
Case Management Services: Assisting families in navigating resources and coordinating care to address their child's mental health, educational, and social needs. Crisis Intervention: Providing immediate, on-site support to help children and families manage urgent situations and stabilize effectively. Skill-Building Programs: Offering structured activities and mentoring to help children develop life skills, improve emotional regulation, and build positive relationships. Family Support Services: Collaborating with parents and caregivers to strengthen family dynamics and create a supportive home environment.

Play and talk therapy
At CrossWinds we use age appropriate approaches which may include playing with toys or games or creating artwork. Plans are developed with children and their parents to build upon strengths and develop areas of growth.
